getting inspired because come august one of my best friends and I will be heading out on the open road to explore Arizona and new mexico. driving down neverending roads-blasting classic rock while hanging our arms and legs out the windows, grand canyon adventures, desert explorations, receiving healing energies from the vortexes, Sedona and santa fe trips, experiencing an indian reservation, and dancing in the sand are all on the agenda! <3 dreaming of the desert lands

reVAMPED

been feeling a bit jaded the past few months and wasn't sure what it would take to get me back on track. I woke up this morning and created an ideas list of goals i'd like to conquer over this next year and would help reignite that flame within. one of them, was to stop neglecting this blog. creative outlets are a huge necessity for me so from now on you will see more updates from me! I have many photo/travel/stories/inspirational/fashion updates to come! stay close ;)

ready to fly~

in a little over 7 weeks from now, i will be embarking on a journey through europe. solo. some moments are full of anticipation and excitement, others of doubt and fears. but i know it is meant to be and i cannot wait to submerge myself in a new environment. to learn, to expereience, to overcome fears, to soul search, to breathe in the new and breathe out the old. this will be one of my biggest adventures thus far in my life and at 25 years old, i trully beleive i'm ready to take it all on. i just want to stay positive and have nothing but good vibes and happy feelings surrounding this whole process. i'm hoping to be able to update this blog more frequently while away since i will have much free time when traveling between destinations.

rincon, puerto rico. house on the beach with friends. laid back people everywhere. live music/bar 2 houses down. running from bats/cave adventures. stunning views. stray dogs that brought tears to my eyes-named one rincon, thought about bringing him home. guava&cheese empanadas. day trip to san juan. homemade sangria. snorkeling around schools of fish and beautiful coral. double rainbows. long walk to a hidden beach oasis-felt and looked like i was in fiji. dancing to reggaeton. full moon booze cruise with beer snorkel contests and jumps off the catamaran. watching the rainstorms roll in. pig roast. family style dinners. stories from new found friends who came to the island and never left. waking up to the sounds of waves and smell of salt water. leaving with a bulk of new inside jokes, a bronze tint to my skin, a smile on my face and a yearning to return soon in my heart. puerto rico-you definatly live up to your name.
